First of all, YES, we did jump ahead from Day 7 to Day 10. In some ways it would've been better if I'd been able to do the same.
Today I resume my trip south along the Pacific Coast. I've picked up several pounds of dry smoked salmon, the rocking chair that was my first goal, gained a sword cane and had some good visiting time with some of my relatives.
On the contrary side, I had chains issues in the snow, tore up a wheel well, stocked up on family drama I normally absent myself from and most unfortunately, we got snowed out of visiting Crater Lake National Park (one of my favorite places in the world.)
On the bright side, I've only got one more scheduled family stop to pick up the marble mantle clock from my Great Grandmother Helena's side of things.
The same day as the videos from Seal Rock Cove, I stopped to video some sand dunes further down the coast. One of the things I enjoy about Oregon is how it's basically four quadrants, each with its own topographical personality.
