Sleep Writing

I woke up in the middle of the night and grabbed a glass of water while a few thoughts about my current project did laps around my head. I wrapped myself up in a robe against the cold, went out to my computer to add three minor adjustments – not more than twenty words total. A few hours later, the whole book was done. How the heck does that happen?
